Dr. John Carter has been performing vasectomies since 2000 and has a great deal of experience with regard to this procedure. Educated at the University of Saskatchewan, he graduated with distinction from the College of Medicine in 1998, and completed his post graduate family medicine training in 2000. Following his graduation, he spent one year in Regina as an Associate Professor of Family Medicine before setting up practice at his current location, Lake Chaparral Medical Clinic, in Calgary. Although still engaged in family practice, he has taken a particular interest in both men’s health and vasectomy since practicing in Calgary. He is currently a member in good standing with the both the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta, as well as the Canadian College of Family Physicians.
